Volunteer Work

Deducation

Role: Co-Founder

Years: 2016 - 2018

Description: Deducation was a social-oriented student startup which I co-founded with 3 friends. Together we built a co-creation platform used by 2000 university students. On this platform, students could practice course materials by completing a range of exercises and this all free of charge. Across the years, our team expanded to 14 volunteers. We also developed workshops using the World Economic Forum's Future of Skills Framework. Our last workshop allowed young professionals to participate in learning about decision-making techniques using digital skills.

One project we organised consisted of creating different Facebook groups where students could ask questions and share notes. Each bachelor year had it's own individual Facebook groups, with an average of 1200 students in each group.
